Wendell Carter Jr. Requests Position Change to Senior Account Manager

CHICAGO, IL - Earlier today, Bulls player Wendell Carter Jr. announced that he is formally requesting a position change from Center, to Senior Account Manager in the Chicago Bulls ticket office.

"Coming out of my Freshman year of college, I was ready to take any job offer I could get. When the Bulls told me they had an opening at Center, I figured I could always work my way up to a role in the ticket sales office. Watching how this season is going, I feel like now is the time to make my move," said the 20 year old big man, as he updated his LinkedIn profile. "I came to Chicago to fill seats, and that’s not something the players can do alone."

Carter’s teammates have reportedly shown him plenty of support throughout this process.

“We can all tell he's unhappy, I'm not even sure what he's doing in this position. He’s playing alright, but sales just seems to be more of a passion for him,” said Point Guard Coby White.

However, Coach Boylen seems much less enthused with the potential move.

"To make an upward move in this competitive industry is challenging, you really have to be the best. For Carter to finally break into the middle-management cubicle job he's always dreamed of, he's going to show he's capable of handling the grind, and that means at least putting up some double-doubles more often.

Nonetheless, the decision falls on the shoulders of President Jerry Reinsdorf. If Carter can prove himself to be an asset at the computer desk, and an absolute power Excel-Wizard, he might have a spot at the cubicles by next Fall.
