IL Rep Darren Bailey Proposes Mandatory Womb Extractions Before Expecting Mothers Can Even Think about Abortion

SPRINGFIELD, IL - Darren Bailey, an Illinois state senator representing District 55 in southern Illinois, has submitted a bill to the state legislature demanding pregnant wombs are extracted from all pregnant people to effectively prevent abortion. Bailey is titling the law “Fetus Retrivus”
Bailey was inspired by Alabama’s recent sweeping abortion ban, which makes it a felony to have an abortion under any circumstances unless the fetus is not viable. “They’re doing it right in Alabama, or as I like to call it, the Lord’s cradle,” commented Bailey.
When pressed by the reporters, asking if womb-extractions are just mandatory hysterectomies, Bailey said that he wasn’t a scientist, but he did know that the Bible made it clear that women can’t be trusted.
“What they found in Alabama is that women will squirrel their way into abortions unless the government gets involved," Bailey continued. "It’s Adam and Eve, not Adam and an abortion.”
The American Medical Association has called this law “batshit insane” and elaborated that extracting a uterus with a fetus growing inside is lethal to the fetus, and potentially lethal to the mother.
Bailey is undeterred by the criticisms. “Once the womb is extracted with the Jesus-loving fetus, they will be transferred into a clinic where we will go and pray over the fetuses and sprinkle holy water on them. We won't have licensed physicians per se, but we will have prayer circles.”
The Alabama state legislature has commended the latest proposal by Bailey and extended their support for the new law. Terri Collins, the Republican representative who introduced the Alabama bill, personally reached out to Bailey.
“Taking away all mother’s decision-making regarding their uterus and fetuses is key in supporting women,” says Collins, "So we can attain the greatness of Gilead."
